Intruder Alarm Systems
A typical Intruder Alarm System installed into domestic premises would comprise of several Detection Devices connected to a Control Panel. Sounders positioned in the Hallway and externally on the front elevation of the building would provide Audible Signalling. In addition the alarm system may use a communications device known as a digital communicator to transmit signals to an Alarm Monitoring Station to provide a means of alarm monitoring. The Alarm Monitoring Station then notifies the police and keyholders of an alarm activation at the premises.
Professionally installed, all cabling on your alarm system would be concealed wherever possible by routing it beneath the floorboards. In this way your home security system will cause the minimum of disruption to your existing decor and be better protected against either accidental or deliberate damage.

At Knight Installations we specialise in fitting the BOSCH Security ABACUS range of control panels. This range offers a truly user friendly interface to the alarm system via remote keypads which display instructions in on a 32 character full English text LCD display. They can store between 7 and 99 individual user access codes and will even address each user by their first name if required. Each zone is also identified by a text description, so that you can easily identify problems should they occur.
The ABACUS 6/14 is also available as a Class VI wirefree security system, offering a maximum of 64 wirefree alarm zones in addition to the hardwired zones.
